Efflorescence

Efflorescence (working title) begins with a simple question: How do environments leave their mark on the materials around us?

Rather than working toward predetermined images, I'm collecting observations, testing materials, and paying attention to weathering, residue, and accumulation. Handmade paper, glass, photography, printmaking, and installation become ways of following those traces.

These are the first notes from an ongoing investigation, I'll share more as the work develops.
